Q: I need to change my address, how can I do that?

Please email us at with the club that you are in, your name and your new address. Your new address will go into effect for the next shipping.

Q: I forgot to tell you my new address and my package was sent to my old one, can you change it?

Unfortunately we cannot intercept packages. Most times if you have notified the USPS to forward your mail it will get routed to you, but it might take a week or more of additional time. If it is being returned to us, you will need to pay to reship it back out to you.

Q: My package is lost or the USPS says it was delivered but I don't have it, can you please send a replacement?

Contact us at and we will let you know what we need to to proceed with an insurance claim and get your package found or replaced.

Q: Can I pause my club membership for a few months due to budgeting concerns?

Fiber of the Month Club and some Random Fandom memberships are month to month and you can cancel at any time and rejoin later when it's better for you! If you are opting out of a Random Fandom monthly pay with the intent to return at a later date you can rejoin as a three month prepay member at a future sign-up opening. All prepay club memberships have a three month commitment and are non-refundable. 

All sales are final on clubs and preorders - both month to month and prepay - and we cannot refund any debited charges made prior to your cancellation for month to month clubs. Since we start dyeing long before the shipment is sent if you need to cancel a month to month club please insure you cancel before your payment is sent as refunds cannot be made.

Q: I got an email from PayPal telling me that Nerd Girl Yarns had suspended my account, why?

When PayPal tries to collect the monthly membership fees for Random Fandom or Fiber of the Month Club and fails, it automatically suspends the membership and sends us & you an email. There are many reasons that PayPal billing may fail from an expired or canceled credit card to a closed bank account resulting in insufficient funds. Please double check your PayPal payment method for your club subscription to ensure that the information is correct. If it is and it still failed please call PayPal at 1-888-221-1161 to have them help troubleshoot your account before contacting us. We cannot update or make changes to payment preferences within your subscription. Once it's resolved please contact us at so we can reactivate your membership and resubmit the billing. If we don't hear from you we will assume you intended to cancel your subscription.
